Install StitchMotion

Requirements​

  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer
  • Apple Silicon or Intel Mac — both are supported

Download​

Get StitchMotion from the Mac App Store. The App Store keeps the app up to date automatically.

StitchMotion Pro​

The app is free to use. Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase — no subscription. You can unlock it from the paywall inside the app (for example when you pick a Pro style or format).

If you already bought Pro — on this Mac or another one signed in to the same Apple ID — choose Restore Purchases to unlock it again. Pro also works across your household through Family Sharing.

Opening a design​

Once installed, you can open an embroidery file in any of these ways:

  • Drag the file onto the StitchMotion window.
  • Double-click the file in Finder (or right-click → Open With → StitchMotion).
  • Use File → Open… inside the app.
