Free vs. Pro

StitchMotion is free to use. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase — there is no subscription. It works across your devices signed in to the same Apple ID, and across your household via Family Sharing. Use Restore Purchases if you've bought it before.

What you get for free​

  • Open all supported formats and preview the stitch-out
  • The Lines render style
  • Landscape (16:9) export
  • Recolor threads and use thread catalogs
  • Text captions, needle marker, and music
  • Export video and still images — with a small StitchMotion watermark and a one-second end card

What Pro unlocks​

  • The Relief style — the realistic, raised stitch-out look
  • All formats — Square (1:1), Vertical (9:16) and Portrait (4:5)
  • No watermark, and the end card becomes optional
  • Fabric backgrounds, your own mockup images, and a transparent background
  • Place the motif — scale and reposition the design
  • Logo overlays and styled text labels (shapes, 3-D depth)
  • Data overlays — stitch/color info, thread palette, and the live color track
  • Transparent export (HEVC + Alpha or ProRes 4444) for compositing

If you set up a Pro feature while on the free tier, StitchMotion will let you know at export time — you can either unlock Pro or reset those options back to the free defaults.
